Check out this ‘death ray’ that shoots drones out of the sky

The next time a drone is being bothersome, a ‘death ray’ might solve the problem. Three companies in the UK (Blighter, Enterprise and Chess) have partnered up to develop a ‘gun’ that fires an interference signal at a drone, which pretty much just drops it cold onto the ground. The Guardian reports it’s being marketed to airports and the US Government by Colorado-based Liteye. As the FAA tightens drone regulations, this type of thing may not be necessary for consumers. But if there’s a job at my local airport that requires me to shoot down drones with an invisible laser…
